BT Art of Sport - a collection of works especially commissioned as part of the Cultural Olympiad - will be on display at the Surrey Sports Park and the Lewis Elton Gallery, Surrey University, from 29th May to 21st June 2012.

Christine Charlesworth, a local sculptor, has been actively involved in the project.
'Working with BT Art of Sport has been very special for me. As a sculptor who enjoys capturing movement it has been wonderful to have the opportunity to talk to, watch and work with athletes. Seeing how they concentrate and how they push themselves to ever greater achievements has helped me to capture their focus and determination, and working on the portraits has given me a great insight into the mindset of these elite sportsmen and women.'
