Small Grants
Are you seeking funding for an arts initiative that will take place within the Borough of Guildford?
Need help with money for a ‘one off’ arts event to be spent on publicity, materials, travel costs and /or fees?
Perhaps you are looking for the backing of an established charitable arts organisation in support of applications to large funding bodies such as Guildford Borough Council or the Big Lottery Fund?
In which case you may be eligible for a small grant from Guildford Arts.
Introduction
- Guildford Arts makes small grants available to individuals and voluntary groups undertaking arts initiatives that are of benefit to the community within Guildford Borough.
- Whilst it is possible that a grant will cover the full cost of an arts initiative, it is expected that it will usually provide a part contribution towards costs that will be covered by awards from a number of sources.
- Successful applicants are required to acknowledge Guildford Arts sponsorship in any publicity materials including the use of the Guildford Arts logo where practical.
- Successful applicants will be required to submit evidence of how the grant was used and of the success (or otherwise) of the initiative.
- Guildford Arts will publicise successful applications through its newsletter News and Views and its web site.
